Hundred Mile Brewing Company, 690 N. Scottsdale Road in Tempe, has events that result in swag for participants along with help for charities benefiting Arizona State University families.
Every Sunday, HMBC takes a Lap Around the Lake. Participants meet at the brewing company at 8:30 a.m., then head off on a walk/run of the three-, five- or eight-mile loop around Tempe Town Lake.
During the casual group walk/run, participants can accumulate miles to earn a free 100-mile finisher T-shirt, according to a release.
On Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m., HMBC hosts a cornhole tournament benefiting ASU families charities. Registration opens at 6 p.m. Prizes include cash and brewery gift cards.
On Saturday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Fall Fling at the Mile features cornhole tournaments for both advanced and pro teams as well as social team categories. The event benefits Sun Devil Family Charities.
