Tempe workshop zeroes in on saving the bees

Keep Tempe Beautiful is sponsoring a two-pronged event Saturday where participants can learn about saving bees in the community and also volunteer time working in a garden.

The Saving the Bees Workshop led by KTB board member Morgan Winburn will take place 9-10 a.m. Nov. 11 at the Clark Park Community Garden, 1740 S. Roosevelt St., Tempe.

In addition, there will be three hourlong volunteer sessions during which participants will work in the garden. The sessions begin at 8 a.m. and end at noon, according to a release.
