Tempe city officials said they are working to make sure all of those living in the city have access to the benefits parks and recreation areas have to offer.
Making Space: An Equity Study for Parks and Recreation is underway, and this week there will be two meetings for residents to comment and offer ideas.
A virtual meeting will be noon Oct. 16. Register here for the Zoom meeting.
An in-person meeting will be 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Escalante Multi-Generational Center, 2150 E. Orange St.
