The lights on both Mill Avenue bridges in Tempe are being replaced with energy-efficient LED bulbs.

The work will take place through the end of June, and drivers should be aware of lane restrictions during working hours.

The work is part of Refresh Tempe, an effort to add and maintain Tempe amenities and infrastructure.

Other projects include:

Art by Kyllan Maney was added to the west Sixth Street roundabout during the Tempe Festival of the Arts.
A mural by artist Jayarr Steiner was recently painted at Seventh Street and College Avenue.
Right-of-way landscaping is being refreshed with new granite, new shrubs and additional trees from Fourth Street to Rio Salado Parkway on Mill Avenue.
Raised planters along Mill Avenue are being added at certain locations.
