Tempe is working on a management plan to design future cultural, educational and recreational opportunities at the city's desert park and preserve habitats, and officials are looking for comments from the public.
The city has conducted public meetings, and a survey has been taking place to obtain ideas. The survey, available at tempe.gov/forum, ends Monday, Nov. 27.
“The management plan will document and evaluate existing conditions and develop recommendations for how to better think about, interact and ultimately care for and manage these special areas,” city officials stated in a release.
