Tempe Marketplace is set to bring Rock It Up, a free concert highlighting different local and national bands, back to Tempe this September.

The shopping center will welcome the fall season with live performances from Good Boy Daisy followed by headliner Beach Weather along with pop-up bars from Dave & Buster’s and LumberJAxes, according to a press release.

The Rock it Up concert kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 23, with doors opening at 6 p.m.

The first set will feature Good Boy Daisy, an alternative pop-rock duo made up of twin sisters, Hallie and Dylinn Mayes.

According to the release, the two naturally found their rhythm at a young age, playing rock and roll video games and jamming along to their dad’s tunes 90’s grunge tunes. Now, Good Boy Daisy is set to release new music and get back into touring.

Following Good Boy Daisy, headliner Beach Weather, an American pop-rock band, will take the stage at 8 p.m.

Known for their nostalgic melodies and future-facing lyrics, the band writes hooks universal enough for even the biggest arena full of people, yet introspective enough for even the most introverted wallflower to ponder, the release stated.

Initially formed in 2015, Beach Weather is made up of three talented musicians – Nick Santino, Reeve Powers and Sean Silverman. Today, the group has over 100 million streams and a debut full-length album.

The Rock it Up concert series will offer outdoor seating for patrons to watch the concert. Guests 21 and over can visit the Dave & Buster’s pop-up mobile bar near The District stage.

Additionally, LumberjAxes will offer guests an elevated $10 VIP ticket experience including access to the upstairs balcony, indoor and air-conditioned viewing areas, private restrooms, a private outdoor bar, special deals on food and drinks, a designated server and a voucher for one free hour of axe throwing when you come back to LumberjAxes.
