Tempe job fair brings employers to job seekers

A job fair is scheduled for Oct. 26 in Tempe that will put those looking for jobs in contact with employers.

The fair will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Tempe Public Library’s Ironwood Room, 3500 S. Rural Road.

It is a combined effort of Maricopa County’s ARIZONA@WORK and the city.

No appointment or resumes are necessary, according to a release, and job seekers of all backgrounds and experience levels are invited to walk in at any time during the event for an informal discussion with the employers who represent jobs in:

  • Security.
  • Home construction, assembly and electrical.
  • Public transportation bus drivers.
  • Social services.
  • Teachers and instructional assistants.
  • Caregiving.
  • Youth and family services.
  • Food services.
  • Retail.
  • Solid waste and housing services.

Anyone participating in the job fair can enter for a chance to win gift cards sponsored by the City of Tempe.
