Tempe Jam celebrates creativity at Saturday event

Tempe Jam will celebrate the creativity of those who live in the city 6-9 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Tempe Sports Complex, , 8401 S. Hardy Drive.

The event is  free, and all ages are invited to hear music, watch dancers and participate in arts activities.

This year's lineup features the Bad Cactus Brass Band (6-7 p.m.), Pijama Piyama (7-8 p.m.) and Prime Society (8-9 p.m.).

There also will be fire performers from Walter Productions and LED light-suited dancers from the Sacred G’s, according to a city release.

Food and non-alcoholic drink options will be offered from local food trucks Eis Café, Fantasy Funnel Cake and Wok This Way.

Beer, wine and hard seltzers will also be available for purchase at drink tents hosted by the Tempe Diablos.

Free parking is available in lots surrounding the complex.  Those who attend are encourged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
