FABRIC rises to challenge to serve others

The Fashion and Business Resource Innovation Center, or FABRIC, has been able to produce over 500,000 reusable gowns for the Arizona medical community to use.

The Tempe-based company was initially struck down by closures brought about by the pandemic. Many of its businesses that it worked with were forced to shut down following being deemed “non-essential.”

Sherri Barry, one of FABRIC’s co-founders, says in March of last year, there was a lot of uncertainty for the 600 businesses they work with and the whole situation was terrifying.
