The Tempe Workforce Skills Accelerator Scholarship is open for Tempe employees and residents interested in improving their skills set to meet employer needs.
The partnership between Rio Salado College and the Tempe Chamber of Commerce “aims to bridge local workforce skill gaps,” according to a release.
The scholarships, funded by Amazon, offer eligible students the opportunity to earn a micro-credential in Small Business Management, Data Analytics and Quality Customer Service. Scholarships will be awarded through the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation.
