The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Tempe Police South Substation, 8201 S. Hardy Drive.
Liquids, glass, syringes, injectables or sharps cannot safely be accepted, according to a release.

Tempe police and the Arizona Drug Enforcement Administration will accept unused/expired prescription and over-the-counter medications in original containers for disposal on Saturday.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Tempe Police South Substation, 8201 S. Hardy Drive.
Liquids, glass, syringes, injectables or sharps cannot safely be accepted, according to a release.
The disposal is anonymous, and law enforcement personnel will seal and deliver the disposed medications for proper destruction, the release stated.
