Tempe City Council review calls for human services aid for upcoming fiscal year

Members of council offer insights into recommendation votes

Tempe Mayor Corey D. Woods and members of City Council reviewed recommendations for proposed human services programs set to receive municipal funding for fiscal year 2021-22.

Tempe Community Council, or TCC, works with the city and community members to provide assistance to residents in need.

At the April 22 work study session, TCC members presented their findings from the council’s yearly agency review where they assess the pressing needs of the community and what programs would best serve the city.
