The Tempe Chamber of Commerce has gathered a group of presenters who will take a look at the 2023 economic possibilities for the area during an event later this month.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Grace Community Church, 1200 E. Southern Ave., Tempe. Breakfast will be served and the program begins at 8:15, organizers said.
“This year could be a pivotal year coming out of COVID, inflation and the hint of recession,” Tempe Chamber CEO Colin Diaz said.
“When you are a business owner, it’s important to be able to source information from the many facets that make up and impact the business community.
"This event brings those entities together to better inform East Valley businesses in helping them navigate our current state and what could be down the road for our economy.”
Among the presenters are Jessica Pierce, founder of Career Connectors, who will discuss the employment outlook; Jim Rounds, president of Rounds Consulting Group, who will deliver an economic forecast; and Donna Kennedy, Tempe’s economic development director.
The 2023 Tempe Chamber Economic Outlook is sponsored by the Arizona Coyotes, Tempe Tourism, Lincoln Property Company and Dessert Financial Wealth Management.
