Tempe Center for the Arts brings vibrancy to the community through targeted programs, shows and more thanks to the city’s continued commitment to Tempe artists and residents, city council was told recently.
In 2015, the city created its Arts and Culture Master Plan to lay out its vision to “advance creative community vibrancy in the city of Tempe, including at TCA,” according to a city report. This created the city’s Arts and Culture Division, confirmation of an arts and culture tax in perpetuity and the expansion of arts opportunities for the community.
Latest numbers show that TCA recorded 95% audience satisfaction with the overall investment of time and money into the center. This data was drawn from a survey taken between June and August 2023.
