FanCon, a free annual event saluting comics, movies and other aspects of pop culture, will be Saturday, Jan. 28, on the Tempe Public Library plaza.
The event features costume contests, artists and authors, shopping and activities for children and adults alike, according to a city release.
Fans of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Anime, and more are invited to gather in costume for the celebration of pop culture.
Events, which run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., include a pet photo contest, a Stranger Things escape room, live sketching, juggling, magic and more.
There will be more than 100 vendors, including food trucks, according to the release.
The library is at 3500 S. Rural Road.
