Posted
INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
The Tempe Memory Café has moved to the Pyle Adult Recreation Center, 655 E. Southern Ave.
The dementia-friendly café provides a social and resource space for people living with memory loss and their care partners on the first, second and third Mondays of each month except for major holidays, city officals said.
At the café, caregivers participate in educational and support sessions while people with memory loss take part in a “cognitive engagement program,” according to a release.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for coffee, treats and time to connect with friends.
Programs for caregivers and their loved ones take place 10-11:15 a.m.
