Tempe’s affordable housing nonprofit has seen an increase in the number of properties it manages, which officials believe will support the city’s goal to bring about additional housing for its growing population and workforce.
At Tempe City Council’s June 20 meeting with the Tempe Coalition for Affordable Housing, the board of directors and other city staff shared updates to the municipality’s affordable housing units.
Tempe Coalition for Affordable Housing is a city-created nonprofit that is in charge of purchasing affordable housing units — houses, townhomes or apartments — for use by the city in emergency and non-emergency situations.
