Telegraph Fire at 86,529 acres, 38.5% contained June 11

The Telegraph Fire in the Globe Ranger District has burned 86,529 acres and is 38.5% contained as of early June 11. The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. June 4 south of Superior and its cause is unknown.

Twenty structures have burned in the wildfire, officials said.

Overnight fire crews continued to secure the fire perimeter along U.S. Highway 60 and around the Top-Of-The-World community with a heavy presence, according to the website for InciWeb, an interagency all-risk incident information management system.
