Telegraph Fire at 80,822 acres, 21% contained early June 9

The Telegraph Fire in the Globe Ranger District has burned 80,822 acres and is 21% contained as of early June 9. The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. June 4 and its cause is unknown.

A virtual public meeting is to be held at 6 p.m. June 9 on the Telegraph Fire incident Facebook page @Telegraphfireinformation.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey will hold a press conference in Globe tomorrow to provide the latest information about the Telegraph and Mescal Fires in Pinal and Gila counties.
