Overnight, the Telegraph Fire pushed south to Troy Mountain where firefighters worked to contain the fire’s edge.

Firefighters patrolled the Dripping Springs Road and worked on green islands of fuel which flared up. The Telegraph Fire in the Globe Ranger District has burned 171,242 acres and is 72% contained. The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. June 4 south of Superior, was human caused and is under investigation.
