Telegraph Fire at 148,299 acres, 59% contained

The burned area emergency response team will begin assessment of the Telegraph Fire burned area in the U.S. Highway 60 corridor in preparation for a rehabilitation plan.

A virtual community meeting is slated for 6 p.m June 16 on Facebook @Telegraphfireinformation.

The Telegraph Fire in the Globe Ranger District has burned 148,299 acres and is 59% contained. The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. June 4 south of Superior, was human caused and is under investigation.
