Teens charged as adults in drive-by shooting spree

Two teen brothers have been charged in a spree of drive-by shootings in Maricopa County last month.

John Paul Camacho Barron, 16, and Andrew Soto Barron, 14, each were charged with multiple counts and were charged as adults, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

The two were accused of multiple shootings at homes in west Phoenix in the morning hours of June 12-13, according to the indictments.

Teens charged as adults in drive-by shooting spree

Two teen brothers have been charged in a spree of drive-by shootings in Maricopa County last month.

John Paul Camacho Barron, 16, and Andrew Soto Barron, 14, each were charged with multiple counts and were charged as adults, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

The two were accused of multiple shootings at homes in west Phoenix in the morning hours of June 12-13, according to the indictments.

Camacho Baron was charged with five counts of discharge of a firearm at a structure, four counts of unlawful discharge of a firearm, and one count each of drive-by shooting and unlawful means of transportation.

Soto Barron was charged with four counts each of discharge of a firearm at a structure and unlawful discharge of a firearm, and one count each of drive-by shooting and theft of a means of transportation.

A trial date has been set in November for both cases, according to the county attorney’s office..
