Teen dies in North Cave Creek Road collision: Phoenix police

Phoenix police detectives are investigating a north Valley collision that left a motorcycle rider dead.
The crash occurred 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18 near North Cave Creek Road and Nisbet Road where officers responded to find Matthew Allen-Winchester, 19, with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital, but he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead, according to a release. The driver of the other vehicle involved remained at the scene.
Preliminary information suggests that Allen-Winchester was southbound on Cave Creek Road when he collided with a vehicle that was traveling westbound across Cave Creek Road from one private drive to another, police said, adding all other details about what led up to the collision will be determined through an accident reconstruction process.
