Teen council members can now work for town

Florence Teen Council members attended the League of Arizona Cities and Towns annual conference in Tucson earlier this month. Teen council members can now be employed by Florence on a part-time basis.

Members of the Florence Teen Council will now be allowed to work part-time jobs with the town.

The Florence Town Council amended an ordinance governing the teen council that did not allow members to take jobs with the town. The council approved the amendment at its Monday meeting.
