An 18-year-old has been arrested as the suspect in two cases of assault and indecent exposure in November and December along the Western Canal, Mesa police said.
Since the end of November 2024, there have been at least two separate incidents involving a man who asked the victims for directions to a nearby gas station before committing the offenses, police said.
On Jan. 9, detectives discovered a lead that pointed to the suspect.
Authorities interviewed Gavin Harbour and booked him into jail on assault and indecent exposure charges, according to a Mesa Police Department release.
Mesa police ask anyone with additional information about the incidents or anyone who believes they may also be a victim to contact authorities at 480-644-2211.
