Taste of Surprise kicks off at 4 p.m. April 8 at
Surprise Stadium, 15930 N. Bullard Ave.
The event features samplings from some the West Valley's best restaurants and breweries. There will be live entertainment, a beer and wine garden and more than 40 restaurants sharing some of their best samples throughout the night.
Participants will be given a poker chip to vote on their favorite restaurants. They will also have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win one of more than 40 gift baskets ranging from
Arizona Diamondbacks tickets to sports memorabilia to barbecue kits.

Melinda Doolittle to perform at the Taste of Surprise April 8

Headlining tonight's event is Melinda Doolittle, who is a soul–stirring songstress. She's known "as a flawless vocalist with irresistible artistry and effortless style compelling her audiences to keep listening. Finishing 3rd during season 6 of
American Idol, Ms. Doolittle has been winning over the hearts of all with her stunning powerhouse vocals and her personal charm."

Rotary Club of Surprise, a business service club that focuses on building the local community through service above self activities, presents the Taste of Surprise. All event proceeds benefits the Surprise Rotary Foundation, a 501c3 organization.

Tickets are $40 at the door. Children 5-12 are $10. VIP tickets are sold out.
