Members of the Rhythm Tappers jazz class will perform “You Don’t Own Me,” a popular song by Leslie Gore in 1963 when she was 17 years old.

The Rhythm Tappers spring show, “A Blast from the Past,” will be performed 7 p.m. Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22, as well as 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23.

Tickets cost $10 per person and are on sale at the rec center box office or at www.suncitywest.com.

Shows will be in the Kuentz Recreation Center in the Stardust Theater. Call 623-680-7081.

Rhythm Tappers –  Tap (Basic Beginner to Advanced),  Broadway Jazz, Jazz, Poms, Novelty, and Precision Tap (combination Tap and Clogging) classes are Monday and Wednesday, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with practices on Fridays.

The Rhythm Tappers Club provides members and guest performers with the opportunity to learn tap, jazz, Poms marching routines and performance routines, clogging/tap and various workshop classes. Shows are performed twice a year at Stardust Theater — each spring and winter.

To join one of the classes or participate in an upcoming show, contact Roselynn Woodward or stop by the studio during any practice times.  Test a class for free.
