Taliesin West grows beyond Scottsdale with 2021 pursuits

Challenges presented by pandemic pushed historic landmark to be ‘bigger & bolder’

After a monumental shift was dealt to Taliesin West in the form of the COVID-19 pandemic, the desert oasis once home to Frank Lloyd Wright is emerging anew for visitors and the community alike.

Of course Mr. Wright’s work, which has earned a spot on the world heritage list, remains intact. It’s the vision of those preserving Taliesin West that now has a bigger, broader view of how Wright’s work can be accessible to everyone.

For those who haven’t been to the tucked away estate in northeast Scottsdale, Taliesin West was the desert home of Mr. Wright and his wife Olgivanna beginning in 1937.
