Tactical search warrant used in Queen Creek arrest, police say no shots fired

A suspect was taken into custody Friday night after Queen Creek police officers served a tactical search warrant at a home in the 20800 block of  East Pickett Street, authorities said.

The warrant was delivered at about 4:20 p.m. Sept. 18, and the individual being served was taken into custody shortly after 8 p.m.

“We are aware of reports circulating on social media regarding possible gunfire. There was no gunfire during this incident. Sounds heard in the area were related to tactical tools used by officers during the incident,” Queen Creek officials stated in a release.
