The 9th Table Mesa Jeep Jamboree, an off-road weekend of adventure, will motor into Anthem this weekend.
Jeep Jamboree USA brings together Jeep enthusiasts in a unique outdoor setting. Drivers will show their stuff from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2 at Bumble Bee Ranch, 23925 S. Bumble Bee Ranch Road, in the Bumble Bee area.
Jeep Jamboree USA off-road treks have a tradition dating back to 1953 when 4×4 pioneer Mark A. Smith organized the first-ever Jeep Jamboree and voyaged across the Sierra Nevada Mountains by way of the old Rubicon Trail, according to a press release. In 1954, Willys Motors (original manufacturer of Jeep vehicles) created Jeep Jamborees and paved the way for the off-road tradition ever since.
