Sydnie Kay Felten, 15Sydnie Kay Felten, 15, of Apache Junction, passed away on March 6, 2008 in Apache Junction.Sydnie, a freshman at Apache Junction High School, was born in Navato, Calif. on Dec. 27, 1992 to Suzie and Mike Felten.Sydnie played the sax for the AJHS marching band as well as the concert band.She was also a member of TAB for the Apache Junction Public Library.Sydnie has always been an outgoing, fun-loving young girl that lived each day to its fullest. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.Sydnie is survived by her parents, Suzie and Mike Felten; sister, Taylor; grandparents, Bonnie and Dan Ikert of Florida; Mike and Barb Felten of Illinois, Alice Felten of Florida; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.Sydnie was preceded in death by her uncle, Mike Calame, and cousin, Tom Kosta.Services will be held 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3 at Christ Greenfield Lutheran Church, 425 S. Greenfield Road, Gilbert.In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to the Sydnie Felten Memorial Fund c/o Apache Junction Mortuary.Apache Junction Mortuary handled arrangements.
