Suspect sought in Glendale road rage shooting that injured toddler

Glendale police are seeking a suspect from an apparent road rage shooting incident on the Loop 101 that injured a toddler.

Around 9 p.m. Saturday, May 7, a 25-year-old female was traveling with her 2-year-old daughter on the Loop 101 southbound. As they were driving past Northern Avenue, they were cut off by another vehicle, according to investigators. The mother got back in front of the vehicle, and as the vehicle went to pass her again, she heard three gunshots coming from the suspect’s vehicle as it sped off, police say.

After the shooting, the female driver pulled over to check for injuries in her daughter and did not see any noticeable injuries. The driver then continued home, where, as she was removing the toddler from the car seat, she could see her daughter was bleeding and immediately took her to the hospital.
