Phoenix police have arrested a second suspect in the shooting death of a man early Sunday morning, police said.
Authorities identified Brenda Beachem, 30, as a suspect, and she was booked on multiple charges to include murder.
A 41-year-old man was charged earlier with the shooting death of the man on Oct. 1, police said.
Eric Norwood faces first-degree murder and other felony charges in the death of Ricardo Villalobos, 39, according to authorities.
Phoenix police were sent to the scene of a shooting about 12:30 a.m. Oct. 1 near 2600 West Morten Ave.
They found Villalobos with a gunshot wound, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police began searching the area after learning from witnesses that a man and woman were seen running from the shooting location.
Two people matching the suspects’ descriptions were detained by officers, according to a release.
Detectives arrested Norwood, and he was booked as the suspect in the killing, police said.
