A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a Sunday night collision that sent two Arizona State University students to a hospital.

The crash near Dorsey Lane and University Drive occurred around 9 p.m. March 16 when a truck hit two pedestrians, Tempe police said.

Alex Ramsay was booked into Tempe City Jail on charges that include hit-and-run with serious physical injury, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal trespassing, authorities said.

The suspect fled the scene of the crash, police said, but was found and detained a short time later.
