Police have arrested Ivan Munoz-Ortiz for his involvement in the Oct. 8 stabbing near 7700 S. Autoplex Loop in Tempe.
As previously reported by the Independent, a woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition after being stabbed around 1:50 p.m. Police said this followed a dispute between two people in a vehicle.
Munoz-Ortiz was charged with intentional second-degree murder, aggravated assault for serious physical injury, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault for intent/reckless injury, according to Tempe Police Department.
“This is currently an ongoing investigation and we do not have any further information to provide at this time,” a department representative wrote.
