The City of Scottsdale has come to an agreement with the Scottsdale Unified School District to purchase the district owned building at 7575 E. Main St.
The agreement calls for the city to buy .97-acre lot and the 13,328-square-foot building on it for $3.7 million, though it still needs to approved by the Scottsdale City Council and the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board, according to a press release.
“This is a great example of a public-public partnership,” Scottsdale City Manager Greg Caton said in the release. “This is an office building that the city of Scottsdale previously owned, and it is great to bring this back into our portfolio of facilities. SUSD is an amazing partner with the city, and the potential of this transaction is a testament to how well we work together.”
