SUSD superintendent gets performance pay incentive plan goals

Scottsdale Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Scott Menzel knows what he needs to do this school year.

The district governing board passed his annual performance incentive pay plan by a 3-2 vote during the board’s Sept. 12 meeting.
If Menzel meets the plan’s goals, he is entitled to a $43,200 bump in his pay for the year. His base salary is $216,000 per year.
