SUSD standardized test results a mixed bag this year

Scottsdale Unified School District’s standardized test results were a mixed bag this year, according to a presentation given to the district’s governing board during its Nov. 14 meeting.

The district’s third through eighth grade students scored higher than both the county and state averages in both math and English language arts on the Arizona’s Academic Standards Assessment test.

Students in those grades scored a 62% passing rate on English language arts portion of the test. County and state passing levels were 45% and 42%, respectively.
