The Scottsdale Unified School District governing board accepted $99,940 in gifts during its Aug. 8 meeting.
The gifts break down into $81,310 in cash and $17,697 in in-kind donations.
The cash donations included $70,217 from the Cherokee Elementary School Association of Parents and Teachers for salaries; $5,000 from the Anasazi Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization for salaries; $4,093 from the Ingelside Middle School Parent-Teacher Organization for a garden and $2,000 from the Mountain Side Middle School Parent-Teacher Organization for a library aide.
