Scottsdale Unified School District will hold it’s first education expo from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 21 at Coronado High School, located at 7501 E. Virginia Ave., Scottsdale.
Representatives from all 30 district schools will be present in the main gymnasium to answer questions from community families. The event is geared towards families new to the area who are school shopping as well as families of current students interested in attending a school other than the one they are assigned because of geographics.
Information sessions will also be offered in nearby classrooms, where families can learn about specialized programs that are particular to a school, such as Laguna Elementary’s STEAM program, drone coding at Tonalea Middle School and the new Fire Science Academy that will open next school year at Coronado.
