SUSD Board votes to repurpose Pima Elementary to Level D learning center

While Pima Elementary School will close it’s doors for good at the end of the current school year, the building will open it’s doors as another learning facility next year.

The Scottsdale Unified School District governing board voted 3-2 during its March 10 meeting to reopen the building as a Level D special education program center serving K-12 students next school year.

Level D schools are specialized for students with disabilities who require intensive, individualized instruction.
