The Scottsdale Unified School District Governing board unanimously approved during its June 23 meeting an approximately $398 million budget for school year 2026-27.
According to district CFO Shannon Crosier, the budget includes a reduction of $2.7 million from the 2025-2026 school year budget due to a predicted reduction in enrollment next year, which lowers state funding, and a continued reduction in budget carry forward.
The district is also moving positions and expenses previously paid from cash accounts back to the Maintenance and Operations fund.
