A review of Scottsdale Unified School District’s 2024-2025 fiscal year annual financial statement audit, compliance audit and self-insurance trust audit showed solid bookkeeping practices that raised no concerns by Scottsdale-based accounting firm Heinfield Meech.
That was the message Heinfield Meech Certified Public Accountant Jennifer Shields shared with the district’s governing board during its April 7 meeting.
“I’m happy to report that we had no audit adjustments that are required to be communicated to you this evening,” Shields told the board. “So nothing that rose to a level of significance that related to errors in the financial statements that would have been needed to be corrected.”
