Susan Kay Brunn Mauro, December 12, 1946 - March 11, 2018.Our beloved Susie ("Suzelle") passed away at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren on Sunday, March 11, 2018 due to complications from a recent illness and subsequent stroke. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.A memorial celebration of Susie's life will be held at New Hope Fellowship in Sun City West, AZ on April 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. (reception to follow).In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Susie's favorite charity Mercy In Action at www.mercyinaction.com, or to the New Hope Fellowship Building Fund.Please join Susie's family in sharing memories, pictures, or videos on her tribute wall at www.never-gone.com/suzelle Susie is survived by her husband, Gene Mauro; children: Jaime West Elias, Cody Blake West, Julia Chavez (Cal Langford), Lisa Bourne, Kaitlin Bourne (Marcio Faria); grandchildren: Mary Elias, Isaac Elias, Lucy Elias, Nikolas Bourne Warren, Erich Williams, Nicholas Williams, Levonte Littlejohn, Isaiah Littlejohn; and siblings: Margie Brunn, Robert Brunn (Kitty), David Brunn, Kevin Schaefer, Teresa Harris (Randy).We would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all the nurses and doctors at St. Joseph's Neuro ICU and Hospice of the Valley, for their care and compassion for Susie and her family. To the friends from New Hope Fellowship, and the countless extended family and friends who provided support and love during this difficult time, we are forever grateful.
