Surprise is one of the best places in the nation for first-time homebuyers, according to a new study.
Financial site WalletHub ranked Surprise sixth in the nation among all sized cities in its recent “Best and Worst Cities for First-Time Home Buyers” list.
Surprise is behind only five Florida cities — Palm Bay, Cape Coral, Tampa, Port St. Lucie and Orlando — in the rankings. It finished right ahead of Gilbert (seventh) and five spots in front of Chandler. Peoria (16th) and Scottsdale (24th) were also in the top 30.
