Surprise resident and former “American Ninja Warrior” contestant Nick Kupper officially announced Dec. 20 that he will be running for the open house seat in Arizona Legislative District 25.
Kupper, a 20-year Air Force veteran who earned the rank of master sergeant, said he has a desire to continue serving in the State Legislature.
Part of Legislative District 25 is in the southwest part of Surprise, but the district extends all the way to Yuma. Republicans Michael Carbone and Tim Dunn are the current representatives for the District 25.
