Surprise woman starts recall effort of 2 Dysart board members

Superintendent Kellis' likely departure cited for petitions

The end of both the school and fiscal years are fast approaching for the Dysart Unified School District, and district leadership could be changing.

Two recall petitions for district governing board members Christine A.K. Pritchard and Chrystal Chaffin were filed May 4 with the Maricopa County school superintendent.

Pritchard and Chaffin were both elected in 2020, with both terms expiring December 2024.
