The city of Surprise is partnering with Vitalant Blood Donation to host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
Community members wanting to participate are encouraged to make an appointment through the Vitalant website or by calling Jamie Michler at 623-222-5127.
Although walk-ins are welcomed, those with an appointment will be given priority.
The blood drive will take place inside the Community Room located near the City Council Chambers in the east wing of City Hall.
As a local nonprofit, donations through Vitalant stay in the community to help our neighbors.
On average, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,500 blood donations every day to meet patient needs, so this is an opportunity to transform your life and the lives of so many others.
