Surprise to host Vitalant Blood drive at City Hall

Posted

The city of Surprise is partnering with Vitalant Blood Donation to host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9 at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.

Community members wanting to participate are encouraged to make an appointment through the Vitalant website. Although walk-ins are welcomed, those with an appointment will be given priority.

The blood drive will take place inside the Community Room located near Council Chambers in the east wing of City Hall.

As a thank you for your willingness to help others through blood donation, Thunderbirds Charities is providing a voucher to redeem online for a free one-day admission to the 2024 Waste Management Phoenix Open.

As a local nonprofit, donations through Vitalant stay in the community to help neighbors. Every day, an average of 5,500 blood donations are needed to meet patient needs.
