The city of Surprise, in partnership with ARIZONA@WORK and Maricopa County Library District, is hosting a hiring event on Thursday, June 30 to connect job seekers with 15 different employers currently hiring in the West Valley.

Surprise to host jobs hiring event

15 different employers to be on hand

The city of Surprise, in partnership with ARIZONA@WORK and Maricopa County Library District, is hosting a hiring event on Thursday, June 30 to connect job seekers with 15 different employers currently hiring in the West Valley.

The hiring event will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northwest Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Ave. 

Job seekers will be able to meet with local employers currently looking to hire for positions in several areas including: retail, manufacturing, health care, fitness, security, government and more.

Prospective candidates should:

  • Register at azjobconnection.gov before the event
  • Bring copies of their resume
  • Dress to impress, and be ready for potential onsite interviews

Attendees will also have a chance to learn about ARIZONA@WORK and the different services and resources they provide to help job seekers pursue employment opportunities.
